I’m Allyson- mom, pediatric nutritionist, and children’s book creator.  

 

I believe food does more than nourish-it brings joy, builds connection and adds a little magic to every day. 

 

With degrees in food science and clinical nutrition, I’ve spent my career helping families build healthier relationships with food. My work has taken me from private counseling with children and parents to partnering with NICU teams, nurseries, and pediatric units to support the tiniest patients. 

 

Through these experiences, I’ve learned that true nourishment goes far beyond what’s on the plate. It’s about caring for the whole child-body, mind and heart. 

 

That belief inspired me to begin writing children’s stories where food comes to life. Through playful characters and sweet adventures, my books invite kids to explore big feelings, digest emotions, feed their imaginations, and grow into the wonderful people they’re meant to be. 

 

My first children’s book arrives this summer of 2026! I can’t wait to share the fun and warmth. Follow my journey as I bring more tasty tales into the world. Thanks so much for being here!
